Tobiko Orders Arrest of Three over IDP Cash

DPP Keiako Tobiko has ordered the arrest and prosecution of three senior government officials in connection with the misuse of Sh15 million IDP resettlement cash. The Special programmes ministry officials will be charged with abuse of office, failure to comply with procurement procedures and fraud. They are alleged to have irregularly awarded tenders for relief supplies for IDPs in Molo, Maai-Mahiu, Nakuru and Eldoret between January and May 2009.
