Rights Commission Urges Faster Police Reforms

KNCHR has raised concerns over the delay to implement police reforms. Commissioner Hassan Omar said the delay to name those to spearhead the process of naming the new Inspector General of Police, his two deputies and CID director raises serious concerns. He said this may be a delaying tactic to influence the persons to be given these positions.
